Discover the unexplored corners of the world with the best of Raja Ampat. As the name suggests, this diving adventure takes you through the heart of the coral triangle to Raja Ampat, an area renowned for its pristine coral reefs and marine biodiversity. Witness an abundance of schooling fish at Fam and Kawe, and get up close with sharks at Fiabacet and Uraine. Spot mantas and turtles at Mansuar and marvel at the rush of wobbegong sharks across the seabed at Waigeo. Snorkel with the resident dolphin pod in between dives.
Macro lovers will be in paradise at Bantana or Kri where muck diving is the order of the day, offering a chance to spot bright, colorful critters – some of which have only been recently identified by science. Pygmy seahorses, mimic octopus, cockatoo wasps, coleman shrimps, and many more miniature marvels await.
Raja Ampat is a dream destination for photographers looking to capture the beauty of the underwater world. Diving conditions can vary from site to site, so it is advisable to be advanced and comfortable with drift dive procedures. This is an adventure into a world that few other divers will ever visit. Drop out of the rat race and let the dedicated guides and crew spoil you.
Explore Raja Ampat’s northern dive areas, where pelagics are concentrated. Cape Kri and the Dampier Straits are some of the most famous dive areas in this region, offering vast sea fans and opportunities for wide-angle photography. Aluji Bay is home to ghost pipefish, toad fish, and bob tail squid, while Kawe boasts dense marine life.
In the southern part of Raja Ampat lies Misool, surrounded by dense hard coral reefs and mushroom-like islets. Drift dives here bring in larger fish such as sharks, mobula, barracuda, and tuna. Fiabacet is home to the photogenic Boo Windows, a series of arches in the reef surrounded by smaller reef fish. Daram’s soft coral reef is known for its outstanding sea fans and barrel sponges, as well as rare halimeda ghost pipefish, frogfish, and flamboyant cuttlefish. Batanta is an ideal spot for nudibranch hunting.
Embark on a trip of discovery and dive into a marine wonderland that will leave you speechless each and every day in Raja Ampat.

Raja Ampat is a haven for a variety of shark species, making it an ideal habitat to witness these majestic creatures in their natural element. Blacktip, whitetip, and grey reef sharks thrive in the area, thanks to the abundance of prey in the ecosystem. These top predators are fascinating to watch as they cruise in search of their next meal.
At deeper depths, four species of walking sharks reign supreme. These include tasselled and ornate wobbegongs, as well as two species of epaulette sharks, which may wriggle and “walk” across the sea floor, but are in fact skilled predators.
Wobbegongs and epaulette sharks are typically found in shallow temperate and tropical waters of the western Pacific Ocean and eastern Indian Ocean, particularly around Australia and Indonesia. However, in 2013, one of the epaulette species was discovered near Halmahera Island in Raja Ampat and was named Hemiscyllium Halmahera, making it a unique and special part of the area’s marine life.
Liveaboard diving is widely regarded as the ultimate way to experience an unforgettable diving vacation. For many seasoned divers, this type of adventure is essential for exploring remote destinations, such as Costa Rica’s Cocos Islands or The Galapagos Islands. Liveaboard charters offer the unique opportunity to explore vast areas and dive different parts of a country, such as the Maldives or Raja Ampat.
A liveaboard is a purpose-built scuba diving vessel or an existing boat that has been adapted to cater to divers. These trips typically last longer than one night, with the average duration being 7 nights. Liveaboard boats can host between 12 and 30 divers, although smaller and larger vessels are also available. Most liveaboard packages include diving, food, and drinks.
Raja Ampat presents some of the most beautiful landscapes on the planet. With clear blue waters, bright white sands, and dense tropical forests, it is no surprise that travelers from every corner of the earth are drawn to this idyllic haven.
Three of Raja Ampat’s finest beaches—Pasir Timbul, Sawinggrai, and Yenbuba—offer a kaleidoscope of experiences that cater to every visitor’s desires.
